The Baltimore Orioles have won the AL East Title for the first time since 2014, defeating the Red Sox 2-0 on Thursday night.
With the win, the Orioles have secured a 100-win season for the first time since 1980.
The Orioles now are the top seed in the American League playoffs and will receive a bye for the Wild Card round.
They'll open their playoff run in the Divisional Series, currently scheduled to begin the weekend of October 7.
